Acknowledge Him

Hello:

As you see all week I have been in this praise mode.  While I understand that we should always be in a mode to praise God, my praise has been elevated to new levels on this week.  Some of you may be wondering what happened in my life that caused this “extra” burst of praise this week.   So often, our increased praise is connected with some type of physical or material testimony.   My answer is absolutely nothing.    As, I said earlier in the week, I started this week with realizing what a privilege it is to live for God and I have been grateful that I know God, that I know Jesus as my Lord and Savior, that my relationship has grown and I am amazed that I can even love God like this because for years, I doubted whether there be any God at all.

Next week, we will pick up our study in the book of Matthew, Today; I want to leave you with this familiar proverb.  I found comfort in these words today and I’ve been quoting them since I awoke on this morning.

Proverbs 3:1 “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good  understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”
