A longing fulfilled
15. August 2008 by Bernice Davis.
Hello:
It’s the weekend and instead of starting a new study at the end of the week, let me share with you this simple verse from the proverbial wisdom that is just so encouraging.
Proverbs 13:12 “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”
Hope is filled with the things that we desire and dream for and when those things are delayed and take a long time to manifest it can drain us emotionally and mentally and cause our hearts to be grieved but when a longing is fulfilled or the dream manifests it revives us and encourages and contains in it the ability to substain us both physically and mentally.
Stay encouraged
God Bless!!!!
Don’t forget to pray and read God’s word daily.
