His Workmanship
21. November 2008 by Bernice Davis.
Good Morning:
Those of you that log in daily know that when a scripture really ministers to me then I break away from my study and share it with me. For the last couple of days, I have been quoting this scripture.
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
The word workmanship comes from a Greek word which means fabric, product, to be molded and shaped. That is just so powerful to me. We are God’s fabric; to be cut, molded shaped, formed into a product; a masterpiece, special, unique, and individual.
The text continues with “unto good works.” We are God’s fabric being shaped unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
I hope that this ministers to you as it has been a source of healing, comfort, and joy these past couple of days.
We are his workmanship; his fabric. All we have to do is surrender to the work.
Have a Great Weekend!!
Stay encouraged!!!!
All is well, everything is safe, and everything is as it should be.Don’t forget to pray and read God’s word daily.
