A New Year

Grace and Peace be unto you from God our father and from the Lord Jesus Christ:

Hello Everyone:

Happy New Year:

Everyone is concerned about me and wondering what is going on with my blog.  To be honest, I have been really busy trying to organize so much in my life and I have not had the chance to begin my blogs back up this year.   Because of my expository style of teaching, I really wanted my blogs to be full of historical and applicable content but doing it every day sometimes caused me to cut corners and not give you the study that I so desired.    I was thinking about shutting my blog down totally but I am getting emails about how many people were blessed by them and missed them though I felt I did not always do my best on them.

What I have decided to do is instead of a daily blog, to post a weekly blog.   It will be available on Monday mornings and it will be my blog for the week.   It will include a memory verse for the week, a topic with contextual background and application for daily living.

I think this is much easier for me to commit to and I know I will definitely do a better job for you.   My blog will begin again the first Monday in February.

I look forward to each of you joining me again as we journey through the scriptures.

Thank you for your patience.

Stay encouraged everyone and don’t forget to pray and read God’s word daily.

Bernice, I was starting to worry about you there for a while since I’d been checking back and forth since last month but figured you were busy. I thought too that maybe the daily blog was too much committment with all you do, so I am satisfied with the weekly format. I have learned so much from your blogs, like the lessons on David and others. I would really hate to see it not exit anymore, although, you can’t over work yourself either. Continued success to you and all that you do! Thank you for keeping on…oh and by the way, please tell your friend Mr. Perry that we here in Little Rock got to see The Have and Have Nots….it was wonderful. He owes us a Madea play cause he had to cancel last year, but for now, that production pacified us and it was good work as always. I appreciate what you and Mr. Perry do for the Kingdom of God. You have both been inspirations to me more than you know. Be blessed, Happy New Year and I will be back in February. Take care…Regards, Tanya Jackson (umeko4@aol.com)

Madam, Thanks for not erasing the blog altogether. I would have been totally sadden. Thanks for your honesty. Don’t place unrealistic demands on yourself. We know you love people, and want to do your best in serving mankind. However, you have to do what works better for you. God is happy when we do what works with him and for ourselves. Personally, one week is BETTER, that way we can have time to research the bible and blog bible verses for ourselves. We have to do work to, you can’t just do all the laboring. It’s not fair. I hope and pray that you are given grace to find out what needs your attention in this time and year. Can I do Something to help ease the load for you? thanks and have a nice day.
